Flurries 02:18
It’s so nice Frozen in ice When we can be frozen together Never melt Never sleep And we could stay frozen forever I’ll think of you Twice a week And I know that it’s not healthy To fantasize of some other life With you And with me And we won’t have to be alone No more No we don’t need to be alone No more

Melted 03:53
It’s been two months since you moved up north Away from all the humidity And all the sudden every time I sweat It makes me cry Because I miss the way you’d laugh at me I miss your false lack of sympathy So I’ll just close my eyes and count to three And try to fall asleep And in my dreams you’re still there So I’ll just dream and dream and dream and dream And dream and dream and dream and dream and dream that you’re still there How can I tell you that I’m fine When I know that you’ll know that that’s just a lie And now I think I’m going out of my mind I’m melting in this heat wave And if I melted Would you melt, too? And if you ran away Could I run with you, too? By the time I come around again It’s still ninety-two degrees How could you have known there was something wrong When every day’s a heat wave And it makes me miss the way you’d crank the air It makes me miss the way you’d run your fingers through my hair So I’ll just try my best to pretend that I don’t care And try to fall asleep How can you tell me that I’m fine When you know that I’ll know that that’s just a lie And now I’m sorry if I made you cry I’m melting in this heat wave And if I melted Would you melt, too? And if you ran away Could I run with you, too? And if I said sorry Would you be sorry, too? And if you melted I’d still love to melt with you, too

Are you afraid to shoot the rabbit? Did I ever tell you about the time I almost lost it on a roller coaster? And I used to think that only fish could breath underwater Remember when I learned how to surf in Hawaii? Well, almost What about the time I played baseball with the New York Mets? How bout the time when I monkeyed around with sign language? You know how to pet a bee? Very carefully You should have seen me at the glass blower Or me, in the stock market I had a whale of a time in Miami Like my new boa? Today I will be in a laboratory talking to a computer

Secrets 03:35
Every time I think of meeting someone new I’ll try to fall in love, but I’m never sure how to Ever since I gave up trying to Convince myself that everything I say is true And most things that I’ve done I don’t regret I’ll try to tell myself I’ve always tried my best To try to be who you expect me to be But there are always secrets no one knows but me And I know there are secrets that I’ll keep from you And it makes me want to cry but I’m never sure how to Wish I could be who you expect me to be But there are always secrets no one knows but me I don’t think I could tell you everything I don’t think I could tell you everything No I don’t think I could tell you everything I don’t think I could tell you everything

Shy 02:22
I Don’t know how to love anyone But my friends So why couldn’t I Spend the day with you Without loving you When I know It’s almost time for you to go? You Always know what I know Unless it’s about you And the way I Feel When I look at you And you look at me And lean towards me And I’ll lean towards you, too But then I look away I’m always too nervous to say How I’m too shy to kiss you Even when it’s all I want to do

I’ll see you in your city just for one day It doesn't matter what we do As long as I can do it with you But I don’t like to make new friends, and you are no exception As much as you want me to stay There’s nothing you can do to keep me from going away But then you tell me when I’m around that it makes you smile Yeah you tell me when I’m around that it makes you smile And now I’m running around, running around, running around, running around And I’m running around, running around To make you smile I’ll drive three hundred miles just so I can sing to you It doesn’t matter how bad they play You always tell me you liked it anyway Then we’ll head to your place and pass out on the bathroom floor Run around, act tough My ego can never get enough of you Cause you tell me when I’m around that it makes you smile Yeah you tell me when I’m around that it makes you smile And now I’m running around, running around, running around, running around And I’m running around, running around To make you smile To make you smile To make you smile To make you smile

New Friends 03:18
You wake up everyday to try to be someone Who’s got something to prove, when you’ve got nothing to say at all Everybody has their own precious opinion But nobody really gives a shit And now you’re making new friends to have someone to say goodbye to When you feel you only really know yourself anymore You’re still living here, but you’re never around Like you’re hoping that we’ll miss you, too And now you’re making new friends just to forget about the old ones And you’re making new friends just to forget about the old ones Yeah you’re making new friends just to forget about the old ones And you’re making new friends just to forget about the old ones Now you’re making new friends just to forget about the old ones And you’re making new friends just to forget about the old ones Yeah you’re making new friends just to forget about the old ones Like you’re hoping that we’ll miss you, too

Father's Day 04:10
I’ll forget to ask how you are Try your best to remember, my mind’s falling apart Sometimes I won’t know where we are Try to figure it out, but I’ve gone too far Now I can’t see out of my left eye It’s covered by what’s left of my rotting mind I’ll remember you, but not where you are Just wanna say goodbye before I fall apart Before I fall apart You’ll forget, too, don’t think that it’s just me Long after I’m gone, you’ll see what I see You’ll remember you, but not who you are Just try to say goodbye before you fall apart Before you fall apart Before you fall apart Before you fall apart

about

Pealds is the musical project of bedroom artist and producer Jon Belsheim. Making music on his own and with his friends, Belsheim writes catchy dream pop that blends the melancholy overtones of your favorite 90s indie rock band with the care free essence of the soundtrack to your favorite 80s movie!

These are anthems meant for a warm, summer afternoon, recorded in the dead of winter. Feelings of anxiety-induced self-doubt are expressed through fuzzy guitars, sparkling synthesizers, and driving rhythms that blend into a massive wall of sound and melody.
