thank you x3 02:42
i don't really wanna be alone right now you take away all those thoughts somehow trying not to be a burden i know you live your own live and it's unhealthy to depend you say you're sorry you have felt this way before and it improves eventually you think it's beautiful i get attached so easily one day i'll hear somebody tell me that they got attached to me i am thankful you're my friend i am thankful this won't end 'cause i can't handle another loss like that again so i am glad you want to be my friend yea we get sad yea we get lonely yea get scared it might go slowly but you can always call me

the exit 03:19
I took the exit to Monona drive The PDQ’s always open its great to be alive Yeah I feel so good yeah I feel so fine On the big loop today it’s gonna be a fast time It’s a cool one outside. The windows are down. Red LP for a surface friends all around. We’ll go to the same parts of town but we’ll never get tired of being unbound HUH Let’s park and go down to our spot by the lake Watch the sun go down how long will it take I never knew things could be so great I never knew what good friends I’d make It’s a cool one outside let’s go out for a drive Meet in 15 at the park and ride we’ll Look forth with our wandering eyes Don’t know what to do with our lives oh The smell of morning fresh in the air Never felt so good to not care I took the exit to John Nolen Drive Heads groovin’ it’s good to be alive Feel so good yeah I feel so fine Linger in the air the smell of royal pine It’s a cool one outside let’s go out for a drive Meet in 15 at the park and ride we’ll Look forth with our wandering eyes Summer’s here we’re doing it live oh The smell of morning fresh in the air Never felt so good to not care

i heard you scream everyone you know is starting to settle down a tainted bloodstream i just want to hear about this life you've found you told me last night in your dream i made you a promise i would hang around i didn't know what awful was til you left town i didn't know what awful was til you left town i could've sworn as you rose your obituary was written in prose i'd never seen your father cry i don't see him anymore i wonder why how could i tell your mother that the second that i left was when they called me back if i had to come home i would need you i ask myself if i killed you if i could think about it i wouldn't want to if i had to kill you i guess i would but i wouldn't want to

the light in 01:53
it's hard to feel my best on a call with me and you and all the rest is it safe where you are? i've been trying not to write you something dumb on my guitar too late, here we are it's an unhealthy behavior but it helps when you feel far and you feel far you're all so far i miss you
5.
living each day like we just broke or are about to break until it's thursday and we're at the Scratcher by 8:00 PM call me just to say that the train is slowing down "can we push this back?" yea, sure i am around refilling my water once again you've got somewhere you’ve got to be uptown around 10:00 PM so it's 45 minutes in a dive bar where we don't say much of anything at all that's alright i don't mind i'm just glad you made the haul that's okay i don't care when you're home give me a call

about

paul buchanan said something to the extent of "writing songs is like falling in love, you can't do it every year." there is truth to this, i think. sometimes it comes fast, sometimes it comes slow, what matters is that you are putting in the work. we are learning how to put in the work.

thank you to our loving community for everything they will do, are doing, and have done
